Protection of Your Personal Financial Information
At Cleros Wealth Partners, LLC (“Cleros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the trust you place in us extends well beyond the management of your wealth. Safeguarding the confidentiality of your personal and financial information is central to that relationship. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices available to you, and how we protect it.

We obtain most information directly from you when you establish an advisory relationship, open an account, complete planning documents, or purchase financial products or services through us. We may also obtain information about you from:

Information We Disclose
We may disclose information about you to our staff, affiliates, representatives, and non-affiliated third parties who provide you with financial products and services or who perform services on our behalf, such as custodians, broker-dealers, portfolio management and reporting platforms, technology and data storage providers, auditors, and legal and compliance consultants. Primary Custodians: Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions.
If you close your account, in the process of transferring your investments, we may share your information with the new broker-dealer, custodian, or adviser that you or your financial professional selects. We also disclose information when necessary to report on your account, at your direction or with your consent, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law, such as reporting tax-related information to federal and state governments, responding to subpoenas or regulatory examinations by the SEC or state securities regulators, and protecting against fraud.
We do not disclose your information to non-affiliated companies that intend to market their products to you. We will not sell clients’ names, addresses, or other personal information to a catalog or marketing company or to any other third party.
Your Right to “Opt Out”
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
- Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness;
- Affiliates from using your information to market to you; and
- Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you.
Cleros Wealth Partners, LLC does not currently share your information in any of these ways. Should our practices change, we will provide you with advance notice and a reasonable opportunity to opt out. State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing, as described below.
How We Protect Personal Information
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use commercially reasonable technical and physical security measures that comply with applicable law. We have policies designed to ensure only those persons who need your information to perform their job have access to it. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural security measures that comply with applicable regulations, including SEC Regulation S-P, and train our employees in the proper handling of personal information. These measures include encryption, multi-factor authentication, access controls, secure document destruction, and oversight of our service providers.
Consistent with Regulation S-P, we maintain an incident response program reasonably designed to detect, respond to, and recover from unauthorized access to or use of customer information. If your sensitive customer information is, or is reasonably likely to have been, accessed or used without authorization, we will notify you as required by law, generally as soon as practicable and no later than 30 days after we become aware of the incident.
Retention of Information
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and as required by applicable law, including the books-and-records requirements of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. When information is no longer required, we dispose of it securely in accordance with our records and disposal policies.
